Solitude is divided into two distinct areas depending on where you start your adventure: Moonbeam and the Village. Both lead to over 1200 acres of skiable territory with 77 named runs. The mountain gets over 500 inches of snow per year, all of it the loose champagne powder that Utah is famous for. Riding around the mountain involves eight lifts, but of course it also requires a lift ticket. Lift tickets at Solitude aren’t terribly expensive compared to the larger resorts in the area, but there are still ways you can definitely save money and get great discount Solitude lift tickets if you remember these tips.

How to Save on Solitude Lift Tickets

The primary way to save money and score discount Solitude lift tickets is to shop early. As soon as you know you’re headed to Utah, you should start looking at what is available. Buying your lift tickets in advance is always a good idea to avoid paying walk up pricing at the resort; it becomes even more important when you realize that resorts like Solitude like to sell lift tickets well in advance. These presales have extremely deep discounts, sometimes as much as sixty to seventy percent. Unfortunately, these discounts also sell out fairly quickly, so knowing when they’re coming is important as well.

That’s where the second tip comes in: putting us to work for you. We’ve been doing this for quite some time, and in doing so have made some great professional relationships with the resorts. This also means that we know when the sales are happening. This lets you do all your shopping for discount tickets at one place and you don’t have to worry that you’re missing out on something. We are constantly updating our information so you have all the deals at your fingertips. With our help, you’ll get the best lift tickets for your vacation. We also can ensure that you’re going to save at least 20 percent off the walk up window prices.

Window Pricing is not for Saving

That’s another key to saving money on your lift tickets at Solitude. Know that if you get to the resort and you don’t have a discount Solitude lift ticket already in hand, you’re just wasting money. The prices you find at the resort are the most expensive that you’ll pay anywhere for lift tickets. That’s because the resort knows that once you get there, you really just want to get out on the slopes; you’re pretty much resigned to paying their going rate. Don’t do that. It’s easy to save money when you consider that anywhere else you get your lift tickets will be cheaper.

This includes half-day tickets. We don’t really think that these tickets are ideal for vacationers. After all, your time is limited, and saving a couple of bucks in exchange for giving up half a day isn’t that good of a deal. Perhaps if you don’t already have discount Solitude lift tickets and you get to the resort just before or after the cutoff; but otherwise, get the full day ticket and go ski. Then when you get back to the resort, let us help you save money on the rest of your trip. After all, the more money you have to spend on other things, the better your vacation can be.
