If looking for guaranteed snowfall and skiing only without snowboarders, Alta Ski area is the right choice! Don’t let this fool you though all skiers are welcome! Beginner level or advanced, a friendly and fun atmosphere will be enjoyable for all. Budget-friendly passes will soon be available and tickets are already at a decent amount. Here are a few more pointers to get the most out of Ski rentals at Alta.

Family Skiers

If looking for family fun and affordable tickets. Alta ski rentals is definitely the place to be.

Parking is FREE, and if you’re wanting to enjoy a beginner’s or family trail be sure to park closest to Albion Base. There are plenty of things to do besides enjoy skiing, like enjoying the beautiful scenery or taking a free shuttle around town, but if you get hungry Albion grill is nearby with cheap prices to feed an entire family. Skiing after 3 pm on Sunnyside slope is just $10 and this may be a better option. Ski rentals at Alta can be right on budget with organization in advance and planning.

Tickets are cheapest when purchased online and well in advance to save the most.  Full day tickets are available for purchase online, for an adult at $89. If you only want to go half a day you’ll pay $73 at the window, so be smart and book in advance if budget is an issue. Late afternoon tickets could save you money though, these cannot be purchased online and only are from 2:30-4:30pm and cost $40. Child lift tickets are $40 and that’s for a full day. Remember the ski after 3pm is the best bargain at just $10 so plan accordingly and in advance online. Multi day tickets are another way to save at just $89 for two days for an adult, and $47 for child tickets 2 day tickets these are available online.

Things to Keep in Mind

Ski rentals at Alta are available at several locations, with brands like Atomic, Black Diamond, Dynastar, Fisher, Head, K2, Nordica and Line. Prices start at $22 for skis only and boots only $14, so it’s a better idea to bundle and get the package deal for $25. This excludes helmet rental, but is strongly suggested for safety at $6. Junior ski rentals at Alta are $19 for skis, boots and poles.

Services are available on site for base grinding, and repairs. Boot fittings can be done as well. Consider renting for several days to save the most and get a 10, 20 or 30 percent discount on gear depending on travel plans. Be sure to come prepared with chains in your vehicle or take ground transportation from the airport, and remember to have fun without worrying about the hassle of flying with gear, or overpaying when you ski at Alta ski rentals.
