They help you navigate through everything you need to know; what to wear, the basics of skiing, what rental equipment you should get and all the information you could need about a day on the slopes.

For those travelling from afar it is likely more economical renting equipment at the mountain, especially with their range of brands and ski types. You won’t have to sacrifice the ski technology you’re used to at the rental shops. If you plan on bringing your own equipment, Alta Resort also has fantastic tuning and repair services. Tuning is always important to help preserve the longevity of your expensive equipment. It is generally recommended to go with at least the basic tune to ensure your bases and edges are getting the best treatment. This will help you speed down the hill and carve those turns even better than you already do!

Ski and Stay

If you are coming from out of town there are some great options for accommodations at or around the mountain. Alta Resort has quite a few options for vacation packages to help you save money and time when booking your next vacation. Make sure to plan in advance though as accommodations and packages can fill up quickly as the ski season is rather short. Always make sure you consider accommodations closer to the mountain to make it easy for you to get you and your family there in the morning.
