Deer Valley Resort also has a number of high-speed quads and other chairlifts to ensure lift lines are kept to a minimum. This means you will get more time on the mountain working on your skills and enjoying the fresh winter air, than you will standing in line. Get to know the mountain

Safety is very important at Deer Valley Resort and it’s encouraged that skiers and snowboarders read the responsibility code before getting out on the hill. Making sure you know the rules of the hills, especially for beginners is of utmost importance. For skiers that don’t feel overly comfortable on the mountain, lessons are also available. Packages are available for learners who are looking to improve their skills. Packages include lessons, lift tickets and equipment rentals. Classes run every two hours and start at ten in the morning and go until one in the afternoon.

For more advanced skiers, race programs are available all season long as well. Get your child started in learning how to zoom down the mountain with programs that start for children as young as five. For kids with a little more experience, Deer Valley Resort has a fantastic racing program where they will learn; gate training, fundamental drill work, and racing elements.
