A ride on the Lookout chair will take skiers to a collection of a dozen different black diamond slopes. The Monarch and Skyline chairs, on the other hand, are perfect for novice and intermediate skiers and riders. The terrain park offers 12 different features including an 18-foot halfpipe.
The Inside Scoop
The upper lodge located at the base of the Monarch and Skyline lift chairs offers skiers and riders a traditional selection of food including soups, fries, and hamburgers. You can also head to the Canyonside Lodge located at the base of the Lookout lift chairs which is home to the Lounge and Outpost Grille. The Elk skewers are one of the favorite choices for both lunch and dinner. Relax and enjoy the fireplace, flat screen television, and traditional pre-ski atmosphere.
There is a rental shop within the Canyonside Lodge which is perfect for skiers and riders who need a little help with their equipment. The staff within the lodge are happy to help fit skiers and riders to make sure they are purchasing the right sizes. You can even rent out tubes to go tubing on hill or snowshoes if you want to go trekking in the backcountry. Trekking is a perfect idea if you are in the mood for going on an adventure beyond the borders of the resort
Consider staying in one of the many affordable condos on the side of the slopes in order to enjoy a truly unique resort and skiing experience. You can skin in and out of your condo all day long and head down to the Canyonside Lodge any time you get hungry or thirsty.
